Membership Governance
Membership & Payment Policy
This Policy explains how METI membership applications, manual payments, verification, renewals, cancellations, and member access are administered through this website.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to METI membership applications, account-linked member access, payment proof upload, administrative verification, renewal, and cancellation workflows managed through this website.
2. Membership Eligibility
Membership categories may be available for individuals, cooperatives, organizations, companies, strategic partners, or other categories published by METI. METI may request accurate account information, institutional details, representative emails, payment information, and supporting notes before approving membership.
3. Application Review
Submitting a membership application does not automatically guarantee approval. Applications and payment proofs may be reviewed by authorized METI administrators. METI may approve, reject, request clarification, or cancel an application if information is incomplete, inaccurate, duplicate, abusive, or inconsistent with organizational requirements.
4. Payment Method
Membership payments are currently handled by manual bank transfer to METI's official account as shown on the payment page. Users are responsible for confirming the account details displayed on the website before transferring funds.
5. Payment Proof
- Users must upload clear and accurate payment proof through the website.
- Payment proof may include bank name, sender account name, transfer date, amount, notes, and receipt file.
- Uploaded proof must be lawful, authentic, and related to the relevant membership application.
- False, altered, duplicate, or misleading payment proof may result in rejection, suspension, or administrative follow-up.
6. Verification and Activation
Membership access becomes active only after METI verifies the application and payment. Verification time may vary depending on bank processing, data completeness, administrative workload, holidays, and the need for manual review.
7. Additional Member Accounts
Some membership categories may include additional representative accounts. Additional members must have valid website accounts and may need to accept invitations or meet verification requirements. The membership owner remains responsible for payment submission and application administration unless METI provides another process.
8. Renewal and Expiration
Membership may have an active period and expiration date. Renewal may require a new application, payment, and verification. Member-only access may be limited, suspended, or ended after expiration until renewal is approved.
9. Cancellation
Users may be able to cancel an application while it is still pending, depending on the application status. Once payment has been verified or membership has been activated, cancellation options may be limited and subject to METI administrative review.
10. Refunds
Unless METI states otherwise in writing, membership fees are generally non-refundable after payment verification or membership activation. Refund requests, if any, are reviewed case by case and may require proof of payment, bank details, explanation, and administrative approval. Transfer charges, banking fees, or third-party costs may be deducted where applicable.
11. Rejection and Administrative Decisions
METI may reject or revoke a membership application if information is false, payment cannot be verified, the applicant violates website rules, or approval would conflict with organizational governance. METI may provide a rejection reason where appropriate.
12. Changes to Plans and Fees
Membership categories, benefits, fees, access rules, and renewal terms may be updated from time to time. Changes are effective when published on the website or communicated through official METI channels, unless otherwise stated.
13. Contact
Questions about membership applications, payment proof, renewals, or refunds may be sent through METI's official contact channels listed on the website.
